Kitiakatanga

Yesterday we went to peachgrove Intermediate for a show called Kaitiakitanga. Our whole kauri team went to see it. I spotted so many people from last year. The show had amazing actors, props, audio and when they played the pictures off the projector everything was clear. I loved all of the show but the audio was amazing and the props were well made it was clear that spent lots of time and effort into planning. Our favourite scene was the first scene when they introduced the new zealand landscape and maori legends.

    Anzac to me
To me anzac is more than just men fighting a war it is a gripping story of brave men going to a new unknown land strange people and most to their deaths. But even if the sad truth is that countless people lost their life most the great war heroes were killed or died of sickness.
Take John simpson for example he came from england but went to australia a strange new land at the time but he was still willing to risk his life in the australian and new zealand army corps A.K.A Anzac. It is said that he saved 300 soldiers but it has been argued if that is possible but described by all his fellow soldiers as a hero and an anzac legend.

    No water!

A big problem on planet earth is the water because only about 3% is freshwater but 2% is not accessible to us because it’s in the ground or frozen in glaciers this a big problem because that means less then 1% is accessible to us.But there is one other factor in the water problem and that is us the human race we are constantly using more and more water so if you try to imagine the future about a hundred years you think something along the lines of star trek or star wars but because we have so little water the human race might fall before that happens.
